Summary: Artist and Educator, working in performance, film and photography. I have recently been awarded an Arts Council Grant, for Research and Professional Development, to explore strategies for sustaining a successful art practice. This is an exciting project and a fantastic opportunity to have Robert Pacitti as my mentor. I am passionate about art being accessible to all and learning taking place within a creative environment. I am available to facilitate and run projects, workshops and deliver the Arts Awards in both traditional and non traditional educational settings.

Experience: I have twenty years experience as a practicing artist,making, producing and exhibiting work nationally and internationally. In my capacity as an educator, I have over 15 years of teaching/lecturing experience and delivering creative projects. Recently having worked with juvenile offenders, delivering media studies, digital imaging, film production, photography and the Arts Award.

Art forms: Video and animation workshops. Video Programmes can also be made working in conjunction with groups. The workshops include the use of all recording equipment e.g. camcorders, tripods, microphones, lights, laptops.

Summary: The workshops – single or as a series – are developed in conjunction with client groups and can provide a range of expertise and learning outcomes dependent on the client requirements.

Locations: Suffolk, Essex, Norfolk

Experience: A professional filmmaker for over 25 years creating a range of programmes that primarily tackle social and community issues. Video Course Director for several years at West Suffolk College. Has run workshops for over 7 years and also movie making residential breaks.

Qualifications: Bronze and Silver Arts Awards Advisor/Trainer. Stage One Moderation – Certificate in FE Teaching (Level 4). Completed SAFE Child Protection Training. CRB checked.

Creative Partnerships – series of contracts working in Primary Schools linking workshops with the curriculum.

Inside Out – workshops developing films about the activities and interests of the group.

Olympic Values – Lottery – workshops with schools, colleges and community groups looking at the 7 values and what they mean to them.

Movie Camp – Activities for All – an annual residential break for young people with disabilities where they create their own films.

Groups worked with: Workshops for Special Education schools and colleges primarily in Suffolk, Primary Schools, youth organisations, community groups. Oral history projects with senior citizens.

Summary: My work consists, of oil, Acrylics, water colour, Photography and Digital images. Landscapes, still life and a mixture activities. I also build websites if asked.

Qualifications: I trained as a draughtsman in engineering, I original got that due to my drawing ability.

Summary: At the West Suffolk Arts Centre we provide engaging and accessible opportunities to work in a wide variety of media through workshops,courses and personal tuition suitable for all ages and abilities. We also act as Arts Award Advisers for the Trinity Guildhall Arts Award Scheme and offer GCSE and A-Level support.

Experience: Very experienced arts and museums educator.

Qualifications: I trained as an artist at the Hertfordshire College of Art and Design in the early ’80s. Since then I have run numerous Arts-based events and workshops for all ages and abilities in a wide variety of media. I am an accredited Arts Award Adviser for The Trinity Guildhall/Arts Council England Arts Award Scheme and I am currently working with groups of young people from the Education Otherwise organization teaching Visual Literacy and Contemporary Arts Practice. I am also a successful web designer and published author (most notably ‘The English Village’ and ‘The Lost Villages of England’ for New Holland Publishers).

Projects: Trinity Guildhall/Arts Council England Arts Award Scheme – Adviser. Education Otherwise ‘Art Basics’ Course at Lopham – lead educator.
Art in the Park Week at Brandon Country Park – a week-long series of artist-led workshops and exhibitions – curator and occasional workshop leader.
Art and Craft Workshop with Mildenhall CRU – a group of young adults with severe learning difficulties. ‘Cultural Diversity in Brandon’ independent project
with students from Breckland Middle School. ‘Brandon on The Fringe’ Arts Festival (promoter).

Groups worked with: I have many years experience of working with home educated children (largely through the Education Otherwise organisation), people with severe learning difficulties, and people of all ages with little or no experience in the Arts. I am an accredited Arts Award Adviser at Bronze, Silver and Gold levels for the Trinity Guildhall/Arts Council England Arts Award Scheme.
