Art Forms: Storytelling
Summary: I am a Professional Storyteller with over thirty years experience in education and performance. My performances and workshops enhance:
– Literacy skills
– Speaking and listening
– The experience of sharing a story
– The multicultural curriculum
– Pupil confidence and self esteem
Stories from many cultures are shared with music.
Sessions are carefully and appropriately differentiated.
Sessions are very interactive, rhythmical and sprinkled with rhyme.
The language is rich and the narrative expertly crafted.
There is always singing and music making, and the setting is delightfully colourful.
Children and adults will be inspired and the sessions will encourage imaginations to fly. Further details, photographs and audio clips are available on my site. I have an Enhanced CRB, £10 million public liability insurance, and I am a full member of Equity.
